Santa Fe, New Mexico – Jesse Kesler, the man who made the urgent call of 911 after finding the bodies of Gene Hackman and Betsy ArakawaIt is still upset by the mysterious deaths of the couple.
Kesler, who knew the couple well, refused to describe what he saw when he arrived at the actor’s house and made the gray discovery on February 26, but told Fox Digital News that he is « bewildered ». The owner of Mudcity Builders in Santa Fe, served as a personal contractor for Hackman and Arakawa for more than 16 years.

Authorities believe that Hackman, 95, and Arakawa, 63, had been killed for more than a week, but they have not yet determined the cause of death.
Fox News Channel obtained the audio of Kesler’s 911 call. In it, Kesler frantically requested that police immediately rush to the residence of New Mexico. The recording can be heard by telling the operator that he « found two or a dead person inside a house. »
« Please send someone very fast, » Kesler urged.
Kesler said Hackman and Arakawa treated people « like gold » and that he, his son and all his employees remembered only pleasant encounters with the couple.

Bringing to the strange death, Kesler said he never noticed anything unusual and wants people to remember Hackman and Arakawa as « beautiful, good and generous people. »

A criminal investigation into the Hackman’s death And his wife launched on Wednesday after the authorities of New Mexico considered the death and one of his dogs, suspicious. Officials confirmed that no external trauma was seen in Hackman or Arakawa, and the case is still open pending the results of autopsy and toxicology.

During a press conference on Friday, Sheriff of the County of Santa Fe Adan Mendoza confirmed that the last event indicated in the Hackman pacemaker was February 17. When asked if on February 17, nine days before the body was found, it could be the day Hackman died, Mendoza said that it was a logical conclusion.

« According to the pathologist, I think this is a very good assumption that was his last day of life, » said Mendoza. He also confirmed after a discussion with the medical examiner that Hackman and his wife « did a negative test in carbon monoxide. »
« The way and the cause of death has not been determined, » said Mendoza.

Although Kesler refused to elaborate what he saw, he felt in the audio crying and repeatedly said: « Damn », while the office spoke with the parapedians.

« (The house) is closed. It is closed. I cannot enter, » he said. « But I see it is lying on the floor from the window. »
The calling person told the office that Hackman and his wife were not « awake » or « alert ».
