The Select Subcommittee launched its investigation in May 2023. He issued a quotation for Cuomo’s testimony in March 2024 after months of delays.
Cuomo sat down in a transcribed interview on June 11, 2024. Later he testified in front of the select subcommittee on September 10, 2024.
Wenstrup said that Cuomo stated that he was not involved in the drafting or review of the July 6 report. Cuomo also testified that he had no discussion of the July 6 report that was reviewed among peers and did not know if the July 6 report was reviewed by people from outside the Nysdoh. In all three accounts, Wenstrup said that the documents obtained by the selected subcommittee show that Cuomo’s statements are false.

It is unclear if the Justice Department, now under Trump’s control, will follow actions against Cuomo. Fox News Digital contacted the DOJ on Tuesday to comment.
The DOJ proposed to dismiss an indictment filed against Biden against the current Mayor of New York City, Eric Adams. A judge agreed to throw the case with prejudice Earlier this month. Adams works as an independent in the mayor’s elementary.
