The Trump administration has transferred hundreds of immigrants to El Salvador, even when a federal judge issued an order that temporarily prevents deportations under an 18th -century declaration of war, aimed at members of the Venezuelan band, according to officials. The flights were in the air at the time of the sentence.
The Judge of the North -American District, James E. Boasberg, issued an order on Saturday, temporarily blocking deportations, but lawyers told him that there were already two airplanes with immigrants in the air, one addressed to El Salvador, the other for Honduras. Boasberg verbally ordered aircraft, but apparently they were not and did not include the directive in his written order.
White House Secretary of the White House, Karoline Leavitt, in a statement on Sunday, responded to speculations on whether the Administration was making court orders: « The administration did not refuse to comply with a court order. Order, which had no legal basis, was issued after the ADDArian terrorist had already retired from the United States territory. »
The acronym refers to the Colla Tren de Aragua, which Trump directed in his unusual proclamation that was published on Saturday
In a court that was presented on Sunday, the Department of Justice, which has appealed the Boasberg decision, said he would not use the Trump proclamation that he blocked for more deportations if his decision was not overlooked.

Aragua train originated in an infamous prison without law in the central state of Aragua and accompanied an exodus of millions of Venezuelans, the overwhelming majority of which sought better living conditions after the economy of their nation was undone for the last decade. Trump seized the gang during his campaign to paint misleading images of the communities, which he said were « taken » for what was actually a good handful of legislators.
The Trump administration has not identified deported immigrants, provided that they are evidence that they are Aragua train members or committing any crime in the United States. Flurry of litigation
The Trump administration said that the President really signed the proclamation of Aragua Train invading the United States on Friday night, but did not announce it until Saturday afternoon. Immigration lawyers said that at the end of Friday they noticed Venezuelans who otherwise could not be deported under the immigration law transferred to Texas for deportation flights. They began to file demands to stop transfers.
The litigation that caused deportations was presented in the name of five Venezuelans held in Texas, which lawyers said they were worried about being falsely accused of being members of the gang.
