The protester stopped and arrested the Republican City Council


A city council organized by the republican representative Marjorie Taylor Greene in Cobb County, Georgia, was repeatedly disturbed by protesters on Tuesday evening.

The footage shows the police that took three people in a few minutes from Greene who took the stage, with the officers who made a man inside the enclosure.

Some six people were withdrawn from the event, with three arrested, Acworth police told the North -American partner of the BBC CBS News. Officers confirmed that a Taser had been used in a second assistant.

Two arrested ones face accusations of simple battery to a law officer and obstructing a law agent. A third is in charge of vulgar language.

Greene told journalists that he was « very grateful » for the way police had handled the incident, saying he was « happy he was thrown away. »

In a statement, the Police Department said that their officers had been « threatened, physically resisted » while removing the protesters.
