Settlement operations have been completed for a World War Second without exploding bomb Discovered in Paris by construction workers at night.
The half -ton explosive found between the train Tracks that lead to Gare du Nord station, which serves 700,000 passengers a day, in the Denis region of Seine-Saint Paris’ North border.
The workers ran into the device as they used a machine moving on Earth as part of a bridge repair project. It was buried approximately six meters below ground.

The bombs eliminating services were one hour of discovery and quickly set up a 500 -meter safety perimeter. Gabrielle Cotton, a Missouri tourist, was supposed to travel by Amsterdam train to Paris, but hooked in Brussels.

« I heard the girl by my side: her parents called her and I said there was a World War II bomb at the train station, » she said. « We were told we had to leave Brussels, » he told Associated Press.
Michel Garrot was stuck with his wife in the Belgian capital.
« There is no solution. We will call the hotel and stay one more day. And change our train ticket, « he said.
In the meantime, passenger Lee Bailey said that Eurostar offered him a free reopening or a refund and an apology, but without any compensation.
It is not uncommon for the bombs of the two world wars to be discovered in France, although they rarely lead to the level of widespread disruption seen on Friday morning.
France Minister of Transport, Philippe Tabarot, warned that Gare du Nord could remain closed until Saturday morning.
The French Ministry of the Interior says that since the end of World War II in 1945, removal units have dismantled 700,000 fallen bombs in the air and disarmed 50 million mines, shells and other fire devices.
