Two months later, Trump survived a second murder attempt while golfing at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, where Ryan Routh allegedly tried to assassinate Trump and remains in federal custody.
During a Q&A session with the media on Thursday at the Oval Office, Trump told Peter Doocy, the Fox News White House correspondent, who will receive a report on the two incidents at some point next week.

He added that Routh, 58, allegedly had numerous cell phones.
« The other had seven or six cell phones, and I don’t have six cell phones, » Trump said. « Why would someone have six cell phones. So we will publish a report on this.

Pointing out a lack of information on the incidents, the President said that he « makes me think a little bit. »
« I say that when you have three applications and two of them are foreigners, and you had a FBI who would not report it; they did not mean why – I would say it could be suspicious, » said Trump.
He also took the time to highlight the Secret Service’s efforts to intercept Routh, which was allegedly detected by pointing a rifle to one of Trump’s security details in Bushes.

« I want to find out -and I would be willing to release it, » Trump said. « I mean, maybe there is a reason why we should not do it. So, I don’t want to move too far ahead of my skis. But yes, I would be very ready to release -I want to see it myself. »
