Venezuela will resume accepting deportation flights from the United States after Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro suspended flights earlier this month.

« We have agreed with the United States Government to resume the repatriation of Venezuelan migrants with an initial flight tomorrow, Sunday, » said Rodríguez.
He added that the agreement with the United States assured the « return of our compatriots to its nation with the safeguarding of its human rights. »

Rodríguez referred to the deportation of some Venezuelan migrants to El Salvador in his statement. The administration of President Donald Trump has sent some Venezuelan members of the Aragua Train Colla in the country.
« Migration is not a crime and we will not rest until we get the return of all those who need it and until we rescue our brothers abducted in El Salvador, » Rodriguez said in a statement.
