Authorities in the province of the Eastern Cap of South -Africa rescued a North -American shepherd on Tuesday, abducted during a fatal shootout at a house in Kwamagxaki, Gqeberha.
Priority Crime Directorate Investigation (Hawks) published a statement announced that an operation led by the agency « succeeded the rescue » of a North -American Shepherd.
Although the news statement did not name the pastor, Josh Sullivan, 34, of Tennessee, was abducted by several armed men and masked last week in his church in the eastern head.

Police said that he received advice that Sullivan was inside a safe house in Kwamagxaki, Gqeberha. When they arrived at the home, the suspects inside a car of the premises began to shoot in the application of the law and tried to flee.

A « high -intensity shooting » took place and three unidentified suspects died.
Sullivan was found inside the same car as the suspects were, but he was « miraculously unharmed, » said police, who added that he is « currently in excellent state. »
