Jack Teixeira, the Massachusetts National Guard member, convicted of leaking highly classified documents about the war in Ukraine, used his judicial Thursday to describe himself as a « proud patriot » who sought to expose the alleged « lies » of the Biden administration.
After declaring guilty of military allegations to obstruct justice, the 23-year-old acknowledged that he knew his actions were illegal, but he felt that he needed to share the truth about what the Biden administration was like, according to him, deceiving the US public over the War in Ukraine.
« If I even saved an American, Russian or Ukrainian life against this money war without money, my punishment was worth it, » he said, and added that he was « comfortable in how the story will remember my actions. »
Teixeira drew parallel with President Donald Trump, claiming that he was also a victim of an armed justice department. He called on Trump’s administration to « review my double processing and punishments in order to reverse deep state actions and show the truth, no matter how embarrassing to the Biden administration. »

Teixeira was sentenced last year to 15 years in prison after testifying to a federal court for six accusations of voluntary retention and transmission of national defense information under the espionage law after his arrest to share documents classified in a discordance chat room.
The leaks exposed to the secret evaluations of the Russian war world in Ukraine, including information on troops in Ukraine and the provision of supplies and equipment to Ukrainian troops. The documents also revealed evaluations of the defense capabilities of the internal arguments of Taiwan and Britain, Egypt, Israel, South Korea and Japan. Teixeira also admitted to publish information on the plans of a north -American adversary to damage North -Americans abroad.

Teixeira, from North Dighton, Massachusetts, worked as a specialist in information technology responsible for military communications networks. His lawyers described Teixeira as an autistic and isolated individual who spent most of his time online, especially with his Discordanic community, and never wanted to hurt the United States.

Failure to comply with the administration of Biden to search for the military and diplomatic fall.
