Fans of Star Wars constantly discuss what kinds of show should create « Disney » … How, given the bad continuation of the trilogy, as soon as the series is needed to return old magic? As it turns out, the old magic lay in the golden age of the franchise, comic books and games that came out in the 90s. What Disney needs to be done is to create a « Star Wars » show, which will never happen, because its very existence would be confused for more casual fans.
Decades ago, the Timothy Zan trilogy began a number of interconnected stories from the galaxy far … The literary equivalent of the Marvel cinematic universe. Unfortunately Dysne Decananized all these tales when they bought a franchise, and so they are now published under the legend. But if the mouse house wants to bring this franchise from death as a power ghost, they must create a « star wars » show, which is focused on what happened to our favorite characters and scoundrels after Return Jedi.
The long -term Star Wars continuedly covered this land, and therefore Disney probably never produce an expanded universe show based on previous fairy tales. Such a show will provide a completely different continuity for the largest IP studio and confuses fans who (as well as a regular Marvel fan) are rapidly worried about what they do, and do not need to be observed to understand the latter Star Wars Movie. It, however generation Angered fans for several different reasons.
For the first time, the « Star Wars » show, the expanded universe, to provide a kind of alternative we saw in the continuation … in books, Luke Skywalker This is a successful Jedi master, not a failure, and Khan is a happily married hero, not a dead, divorced dad. Only it will appeal to fans of the books of EU Classic Star Wars as well as those who hated how our heroes continue. In this matter this show can effectively deliver the storyline of the era sequel, most of us hope see on the screen after reading books.
Secondly, the non-canonical show « Star Wars » will give Disney a great opportunity to bring back fan characters without worrying about what it will do with the canon story. Fans loved the return Great Admiral TraunaBut such a TV show can also give us screen portraits of fans like the dream of Jade and Koran Horn. In addition, we could see types of stories that will never appear on the big screen, such as Luke Skywalker goes married and give birth to a baby.
Finally, this show « Star Wars » extended universe Mark Hamil Return to express their iconic characters. It would be the best of both worlds that allowed Disney to give us a fresh stories of Luke Skywalker without worrying about the return of the character to life or animation with some soulless CGI. In addition, let’s be honest … After a long trilogy, we could use the sky wash facility when it comes to a screen display.
While such Star Wars show, extended universe, can unite the Hardcore supporters, Disney will never create it because the presence of two different continuity will be confused for random viewers. But this is a shame because it can be animated by the franchise of the revival we expected. And that would allow the fans and the Disney to take advantage of Kylo Ren’s advice when it comes to the last story of this franchise: let the past die … And kill him if necessary.
