Talks directed at Tiktok’s White House are co-leaving a plan for the largest non-Chinese investors in the Bytedance Matrix company to increase their shares and acquire US operations in the short video application. The Plan, which would see that the Oracle software company continued to host US users’ data, while allowing Bytedance to retain control over the application would be « in violation of the requirements of the law, » said Jonathan Penney, an associate professor at the Osgood Hall Law School, at York University.
