In Battlestar GalacticaPerhaps there was no more strange relationship than between Apollo and Douala (better known as « yes »). At the beginning of the show, it followed that Apollo and Starbak were intended for each other, which made it much more amazing when Apollo and Di married. Fans often thought about how these characters gathered in the first place, and it mainly stems from the Shovunner Ronald D. Moore, which impresses the dynamics of the heroes in the episode of 2 season « resistance ».
Now there is no interaction in Apollo and Di in this episode … They speak a little earlier in the episode when he is in prison in the brigade, and she later helps him and President Roslin avoid custody. There are not many hints here for the accidental viewer that these two characters are likely to be together. However, the writers included a tiny moment when Di looks at Apollo when he was leaving the stage, which was to hint at the future romantic events between the two characters.
Of course, Battlestar Galactica Shame hinting at things that did not pass … Damn, Moore later acknowledged that even the famous « they had a plan » from the introductory loans of the show was a lie because he did a lot. Why then is this short, non -verbal interaction between Apollo and Di led to the fact that the two characters later married? In the later comments on the podcast, Shovruner said he had just gladly saw their dynamics in « resistance » and wanted to further develop their relationship.
What was developed was interesting, but it remained one of the most confusing romantic relations throughout the show. They go for a date at « donation » and she later visits Apollo in Sickbay, where he recovers after a friendly Starbuck’s fire courtesy. Speaking of this, Starbak has a crushed expression on her face when she sees Apollo and Di in the hospital, largely implying that she has hot for him and sadly see him with another woman.
Early Apollo and di try to keep his relationship with restrained, but he is all except restrained when he is cheating on having sex with a stag. The next day, Starbak joined Anders, causing Apollo offered. They get married, but it does not prevent Apollo and Starbuk to have a later cause.
Oddly enough, it’s not affairs that make these two part … Instead, the di is separated from Apollo after he protects Guy of the Balta when a crazy scientist judges for crimes against humanity. They go their own paths, but support the happy relationship that made us think if each of them will be loved. However, it has never been for Di, who scoring himself, finding the planet the ground except the devastated ball of dust.
The death of the di, like her relationship with Apollo, seemed to come out of nowhere, which left fans the discussion, why these two characters gathered in the first place. Interestingly, all the relationship stems from Ronald D. Moore who loves their mood in « resistance ». It turns out that the wall itself eventually resembles the tylons … He may not have a plan for these characters, but he created a whole broad history based solely on their chemistry in one episode.
